Bruce Kent’s nationwide Scrap Trident Tour included Kingston, and Kingston Peace Council helped to organise and support his visit here on Tuesday 30th April. Members were with him outside the Bentalls Centre from 1.30 to 3.00. Bruce then went to address pupils at Richard Challiner School at 3.30, after which a Mayor’s reception was held at the Guildhall, 5.00 to 6.00, to which faith leaders and councillors have been invited. A report on the day will be included in next month’s Kingston Peace News.
